Strategy Tips: Moving from the General to the Specific (as in Knowledge Strategy)

  Always interested in what is being said and written about strategy as a general management theory and practice, I found a recent McKinsey Quarterly article particularly useful. Published in July, 2012, “Becoming more strategic: Three tips for any executive,” by Marshall Birstan and Jayanti Kar gave me the opportunity to think about how some of the concepts of general management strategy can be applied in our field.
